Review: Nivea All-in-1 cleansing gel

Hello, I'm back!

Today I will be doing a review of the Nivea All-in-1 cleansing gel.
Where to find: you can find this in any drugstore or you can always order it online.
Price: €6,99 (that's $9.30 or £6.02)

What it does: five effects in just one product: cleansing, peeling, face mask, with antibacterial and anti-irritant characteristics! Extra deep cleansing + leaves your face pure and matt

Skin type: Personally, I think this will work for all skin types.
How to use: When you're using it as a cleanser -> make sure your face is a bit wet, put some product on your hands and massage your face with upward motions. Gently rince off with water. Make sure that the water is not too hot or too cold.

You can also use it as a mask -> Put the gel on your skin and make sure your face is covered. You don't need a very thick layer. Leave it on for about 3 to 5 minutes and gently rince off with water. (this can be warm or cold)

My experience:
I've tried alot of Nivea products in the past and honestly... I always had the feeling that it could be just that little bit better. Most products dissapointed me. I expected this product to dissapoint me as well.

But I was lucky this time! :)
When I put it on my face, I immediately noticed the wonderful smell. I'm not sure what it smells like, but it was something fresh yet not too overwhelming.
The peeling materials were very gentle on my skin but I could feel that my skin was getting cleaned. After I rinced it off, I didn't have a burning or itchy feeling.
I have very oily skin and around 2 hours after cleansing my face, I feel my skin getting oily and shiny. I was having high expectations since it said "Pure and matt"... I was hoping that this would leave my skin looking matt for more than 2 hours. And it worked! After 5 hours, my skin was a little bit shiny, but didn't feel very oily. I was really happy and surprised! :)

I would definitely buy this product again and I recommend it to anyone who has oily skin!
The price is good, you get quite a good amount of product and it does what it promises to do.
However, this was just my personal experience. :)

Thank you for reading this review! Please let me know if it was helpful.

Hema Scrub Cream review

Hello there!
This is gonna be my very first review here. The past days I've been trying to figure out how to make a good template, but unfortionately I keep experiencing problems. =/
So I decided to stick with this layout for a little longer.

Today I'll be talking about a really good scrub cream!

Name: Hema Scrub Cream
Type: for all skin types
Price: € 2,25 (that's around $3,18 and £1,97)
Where to buy: Hema
NOTE: You can find a Hema store in
the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, France and Germany.
What it does: Gets rid of dead skin cells and makes your skin smooth and soft.

How to use:
Make sure your face is just a little bit wet. Put some scrub cream on your hands and apply gently to your face making circular motions while massaging it.
Rinse it off with water. (make sure that the water is not too hot or too cold!)
Use once a week!

This is what it looks like when you rub it on your skin.

My experience: This is the best scrub cream I've ever had! I was not too sure about this product because I was not familiar with the Hema face products.
My best friend recommended it to me so I decided to give it a try... And I love it!

My skin feels smooth, soft and clean. I have very oily and acne prone skin, but to my surprise, it does not break me out!

Do not freak out the first time you use it, it might feel like your skin is getting warmer. The texture feels like sand on your skin, you really feel it scrubbing!
Some people might not like that feeling. It's very very texturised. If you don't like this, I suggest you try another scrub cream that's a bit softer. :)

Also, it has a really nice scent to it. :)

I would recommend this to people who have dry or oily skin. If you have sensitive skin, this might be a little too harsh for you.
Also, there's perfume in it which may not be pleasant for sensitive skin.

The price is very good, I find it very cheap compared to other scrubs.

Sooo... that was my first review! I hope it was helpful ;)
I will also be doing reviews for products available in the UK and US! (and other places of course)

If you have any questions about this product, feel free to ask!

Quick note: This was 100% MY experience. Remember that everyone is different, so you might have a totally different experience with this product. ;)

Love,
Meli. <3

I'm back with facts!

Hi everyone (if there is someone reading this xD)

In my first post, I said that I was gonna post some facts about me. Well... here we go :)

BASIC
My full name is Melina. I don't really like it, it just doesn't suit me I guess. My friends call me Mel or Meli :)
I was born on the 25th of January 1992, so that means I'm 19 years young now ^^
I'm from Belgium and that sucks. Nothing exciting here. Don't get me wrong, I love the small village I live in, but sometimes I'm going just a little bit insane here.

HOBBIES/INTERESTS
My hobbies are: dancing, webdesign, gaming and of course everything that has to do with makeup/beauty.
Wanna know what music I dance to? Well... I like Metal/Hardrock, but it's hard to dance to xD Luckily, that's not the only music genre I like :) I love Lady Gaga! <3 And I appreciate pop and all those related genres.

EXTRA
I don't have so much to tell you, my life is not THAT exciting. xD
I have a great family and great friends who I love so much. <3
You could call me crazy cat lady, because I have had cats since I was born and currently I have 3 grown up cats with number 4 on the way! It's gonna be a little kitten this time (so excited!!).

Enough about me, I feel like I'm pretending to be the center of attention while I'm actually just trying to introduce myself properly.

Very first post! Introduction...

Hi there,

first of all I want to thank you for taking the time to look at my blog. :)
Now let me introduce myself...

I'm Meli, nice to meet you!
Lately, I've been getting very interested in all kinds of beauty related things like make-up tutorials, fashion, skincare,... That's why I love watching beauty gurus on Youtube.
This summer, I've been thinking about starting my own beauty blog, maybe with some videos in the future. ;)
I was hesitating at first, but I realised that this is something I really love doing. So why not try it huh?
I would love to share my opinion and reviews about all kinds of beauty related things.
Little warning: it may be a bit difficult for me at first, because I'm not used to typing in English (I'm from Belgium) and I have to pump up my writing skills a bit, haha!

So... I hope that I'll be able to meet people here that share the same passion as I do! :) Don't hesitate if you want to leave a comment, I'll be happy to have a chat.

I know that there are so many beauty blogs out there, but I love doing this, and I'm not in any way trying to copy someone or be fake. ALL the things I write here will be HONEST and my own opinion. I hope that I'll be able you give you advice, tips,... about beauty, fashion, health or even a bit more personal related subjects. :)

I'm already looking forward to my next post when I'll be posting some facts about me.

Lots of love,
Meli
